1. Start

The route starts at Ainslie Shops.

2. Turn right onto O'Connell Street, and turn left onto Wakefield Avenue

Exiting Ainslie Shops carpark onto O'Connell Street, Ainslie Turn left onto Wakefield Avenue
Wakefield Avenue cuts through half of Ainslie, but confusingly is not a continuous street.

3. Turn left onto Ebden Street and keep going until T intersection at Majura Ave/Officer Cres

You can continue straight for a while, Ebden Street itself morphs into Officer Crescent

4. Cross zebra crossing on left near Officer Crescent/Majura Avenue intersection

While you are still on Officer Crescent, it can be easier to turn left onto the footpath before the yellow 20 km/h speed bump sign

This is the zebra crossing near the Majura Avenue intersection we are attempting to cross. Making a left turn, and then a quick right turn onto the pedestrian crossing can confuse car traffic on Majura Avenue.

5. Switch onto footpath

Now on the footpath, continue along straight here.

6. Turn left onto bike path

This bike path more or less connects Dickson (on the left) and Hackett (on the right). We will continue left until we hit the C6 Bike Path (connecting Dickson to the City/ANU)

7. Cross the road and take the left along the C6 Bike Path

Alternate destination: Turn right a little earlier to go to Dickson Pool instead Before you hit the road intersection, there will be a bridge that will take you to Dickson Pool.

After crossing the road (Cowper St), continue following the bike path on the left.

Continue straight past the metal fence, and continue left onto bike path
Alternate destination: You already are at Dickson Shops, just turn right

You can also turn right and you will be relatively close to Dickson McDonalds, Dickson Woolworths/Coles and the Library.

7. Take any right to get to Dickson Shops
